I am proud to say that Rockford is my home. It is where I grew up, where my kids go to school and where I find so much great entertainment and shopping. Rockford has a lot going for it!
I got my real estate license in September 2013 after spending close to two decades in social services at Children's Home and Aid and then the Rockford Public Schools. I had always been interested in real estate - like so many others I attended open houses on Sundays as a hobby. For a few years I talked about my wish to get into the real estate business but it just was not the right time being the mother of young children. However, after lamenting to my teenaged daughter about my wish to sell real estate she said, "Mom, you're never going to do it." I thought this was a great opportunity to show her that when you really want to do something, you have to make it happen. I want my kids to work hard and accomplish their goals so I need to be the example.
Owning a home is about having a place to share with those you love, a place of refuge from the outside world and an investment in your financial future. Call me when you need a dedicated and hard working realtor.
All the best,
Ann
